Chapter One: You're Caleb, a survivor on the Northern Line, an uncertain route north through the ruins of the west coast. When a storm forces you into an abandoned house, an encounter with a stranger sparks a reluctant partnership that will shape your journey ahead.

Broad Synopsis: Seven years after a devastating pandemic, a wary traveler, a talkative old man, and a cynical doctor migrate north along a desolate and uncertain route known only as the Northern Line in hopes of finding a rumored settlement in the far north.

The Shelter is a narrative ambient survival game. 

What to expect:

• A first look at Chapter One, featuring exploration, dialogue, and choice-driven storytelling.
• An ambient story-driven survival experience in a bleak but immersive world.
• A chance to shape the game’s direction with your feedback.

The following version, 1.3, is an early prototype chapter in "The Journeyman." 

Playing The Shelter with headphones or a solid sound setup is recommended.
